About FRENA
FRENA COMMUNITY is a Community-focused entity, whose strength is in championing, promoting, and supporting issues affecting youth, women, and persons living with disabilities (PLWDs), with the sole motive of making them become self-reliant, and live a life of dignity by availing to them adult education, vocational training on various skills such as tailoring, catering, music and dance, hairdressing and beauty, salon management, ICT skills, language learning, cleaner community environment, cohesion among local communities, peace, and reconciliation role.

To deliver quality vocational training, and support, enable young people and adults to gain skills, qualifications, and confidence to enhance their full potential for a positive future in life.
Our Goal
To create programmes and activities that provide relevant skills, create opportunities aimed at improving the overall livelihoods of youth, women and persons living with disability (PLWD’s) as professionals amongst the urban -rural refugees in Kenya and beyond.

Youth
Championing, promoting, and supporting the talents of the youth from both urban and local refugee communities.

Securing job opportunities with fair wages and preventing exploitation through referrals to other organizations and active employer engagement.
PLWDs
Supporting persons living with disabilities (PLWDs), with the sole motive of making them become self-reliant and live a life of dignity.
Refugees
Promote a cleaner community environment, cohesion amongst local and urban communities, peace, and reconciliation.
